Installing the XFR wallet

Is the XFR wallet free to download?
Yes. The XFR Wallet app is free on both Google Play and the Apple App Store, and the web wallet is free to use at xfr.money/wallet. XFR is self-custodial — there are no account fees.
Which devices does the XFR wallet support?
You can use the web wallet in any modern browser, the Android app on Android 8.0 and up, and the iOS app on iPhone or iPad running iOS/iPadOS 16.0 or later.
Can I use the same wallet on mobile and web?
Yes. Your wallet is derived from a BIP-39 recovery phrase. Import the same 12-word phrase on the mobile app or the web wallet to access the same BC2 and BCH2 addresses. Keep your recovery phrase offline and safe.
Are the mobile apps self-custodial?
Yes. The XFR Android and iOS apps generate and store your private keys on your device. XFR never holds your keys or your coins and cannot recover your wallet if you lose your recovery phrase.
